Meet your maker… and explore our past work.
Founder and lead designer Maddox Humphries brings more than a decade of experience in custom furniture, fabrication, and design-build work, including freelance work in museum design and construction. That background shapes the studio’s approach: each piece has to function, but it also has to hold a room visually.
The work is guided by a simple philosophy — use honest materials, respect proportion, let construction become part of the beauty, and create pieces with enough presence to outlast changing tastes.
This portfolio includes past commissions, commercial work, experimental pieces, and studio objects — each shaped around material, proportion, use, and presence. Some pieces begin with a specific client need. Others begin with a fallen tree, an unusual form, or a question worth exploring.
